This programme focuses on the assessment and mitigation of risks caused by floods, avalanches, and landslides affecting both new and existing structures and infrastructures. It addresses both structural and non-structural mitigation measures, providing students with the tools needed to analyse complex hydrogeological hazards.

Compulsory and elective courses cover core subjects such as hydrology, fluvial hydraulics and hydromorphology, hydraulic infrastructures, snow avalanche and landslide hazards, risk and emergency legislation, and earth surface processes.

These topics are supported by a solid foundation of preparatory courses, including numerical analysis, probability and statistics, continuum mechanics, geomatics, and geology.
